Verification confirms identity only. It does not confirm expertise, accuracy, or authority.

1. Purpose of Verification

Verification exists to:

  • Improve transparency
  • Strengthen community trust

2. What Verification Means

A verification badge indicates that the user's identity has been confirmed through submitted documentation.

It does NOT indicate:

  • Accuracy of contributions
  • Endorsement by IKS
  • Cultural or community authority

3. Required Information

Applicants must provide:

  • A written explanation for verification
  • A valid government-issued ID

Documents must be clear and unaltered.

4. Data Security

Verification documents:

5. Retention and Deletion

Verification documents are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to complete identity verification and mitigate fraud risk. IKS may delete verification documents at its discretion or upon account deletion, subject to legal requirements.
