Community Guidelines

Users must:

• Avoid demeaning, exploitative, or culturally insensitive content
• Refrain from misrepresenting cultural affiliation or authority

2. Sharing Cultural Knowledge

When sharing indigenous knowledge, you must:

• Have appropriate authority or permission to share
• Avoid publishing sacred, restricted, or confidential knowledge
• Respect community-specific limitations on disclosure

IKS may remove content if a community representative objects or if we believe the content may infringe cultural rights.

3. No Harmful or Illegal Content

The following is prohibited:

• Hate speech
• Harassment or threats
• Incitement of violence
• Fraud or impersonation
• Copyright infringement
• Uploading malicious software
• Unlawful activity

4. Health and Traditional Practices

Content relating to traditional medicine or health practices must not be presented as guaranteed treatment or professional medical advice.

Users are responsible for ensuring their content does not promote harmful or dangerous practices.

5. User Interactions

Private messaging and public comments must remain respectful. IKS is not responsible for user interactions but may review reported content and take action where necessary.
